Privacy

PriceHunter is a guide to shops. An account is created only when you sign in.

Saved shops are stored on that account so you can see them again. We do not sell that list.

Page views, searches, and which shop sites are opened are counted so the editor can see what people use. That count is not tied to your account and is not sold.

Google Analytics also counts visits, using measurement ID G-JPH9917VR4. That is Google’s count, not a list we sell.

Google AdSense may show ads on this site. Google and its partners can use cookies to serve and measure those ads, including ads based on visits to this site and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google’s ad settings. How Google uses data from sites that use its services is explained in Google’s advertising policy.

Questions about this page can be sent through the contact form. PriceHunter is a Resign Designs company.

Questions

Why PriceHunter?
Most people only open the first few sites. PriceHunter lists the shops in one place so you can see which page is secured, how they deliver, and whether the physical shop is open, before you pay.
What is PriceHunter?
PriceHunter started in 2019 as the first Sri Lankan price comparison website. It is now a shop and business comparison guide. You check the shop before you pay. PriceHunter does not sell the goods.
Who runs it?
pricehunter.lk is a Resign Designs company.
What does Secured mean?
The shop page address starts with https, so it is encrypted on the way. A lookalike can still use https, so read the name letter by letter.
What does Verified mean?
PriceHunter reviewed that shop before adding the badge. It is separate from the lock.
What does Sponsored mean?
The shop paid to appear at the top of the list. It is not the same as Verified. Read the shop before you pay.
What does Shop open mean?
The physical shop, and only when an address and hours are listed. It is not the website.
How does a shop get listed?
Use List your shop. It is reviewed before it appears. Paid placement is what puts a shop at the top.
